In 2021, Valéria opened her first restaurant in Orem, Utah—Sweet Avocado—offering a variety of Brazilian dishes to the American market. Over time, she realized that something even more special was standing out: esfihas, a classic Middle Eastern dish that is incredibly popular in Brazil.

As she saw her customers’ excitement for this unique product—a light dough filled with delicious options like beef, chicken, bacon, cheese, and even sweet flavors—Valéria knew it was time for a new direction. In 2024, she decided that esfihas would become the heart of the restaurant, and hired a marketing team to reimagine the brand. That’s when Round Bites was born, a name that celebrates the shape and irresistible taste of her esfihas, now the star of the menu.
